Our initial image, we want to focus on the concern showing on the central subjects face.

Firstly, we really need a square image to start with to make the zoom work.
So with a clone and smudge tool we just build up a rough continuation of the image.
We also need to select a circle on the centre of the image, apply a very big feather,
and copy the selection to a new layer. This will allow us to always keep the face in focus.

Back on the original layer, I'm using the Adobe PhotoShop Zoom tool
(see Plugins 101).

The earlier types were what I call the "Uh Oh!" factor, conveying the emotion of trouble,
but there is also the "Wah Hey" factor, conveying joy or pleasure.
